Getting started with FlashDroid

Two apps, one pairing code. It takes a few minutes.

Step by step

    Install FlashDroid on your phone

    Get the parent app from Google Play and create your account.

    Install FlashDroid Kid on the child’s phone

    Download it directly and open the installer. On Android 13+, allow restricted settings when asked.

    Grant the permissions it asks for

    FlashDroid Kid needs a few permissions to do its job. It explains each one as it goes.

  4. 4

    Pair the two phones

    Scan the QR code (or type the 6-character code) shown in your FlashDroid app.

  5. 5

    You’re set

    Set the daily limit together, and open a live view or ask for a snapshot whenever you need one.
